We are Arras

Hello food lover,

I’m Jasmine and I kicked off the Viva community in 2017 from a selfish need that became a collective desire. I was tired of spending money on food that brings me no joy in return.

I started to wonder how can I get in touch with the local community of food providers among my friends.

What I discovered was a bunch of isolated islands that never got the chance to connect and amplify the echo of their work. Everyone knew someone, yet they were separated.

I came across one of the tastiest goat cheese in my life that was made five km away from where I live. I got the chance to remember the flavor of fresh tomatoes that makes me drool even today. I found a family business where growing bio vegetables was not a trend but normality.

My universe opened up widely, and I started to get in touch with all these people, listen to their stories with all the bells and whistles, and begin building bridges between them.

Arras is far more than my personal choice of healthy and sustainable food, made with care and love.

It’s a daily option for 781 families in my city, a safe place where every local producer with similar values, a straightforward mechanism to reinforce the importance of clean food, and a business model that’s fair and transparent for all the forces involved.

Love Jasmine

We are a small team of people in charge of everything. We’re mothers, teachers, writers, harvesters. We’re growing a community where local ingredients are the superstars.

Kevin

I’m an active volunteer for all Convivia projects, and what I love most doing is acting like a host by helping people feel at home within our community. It’s such a special feeling!

Williams

I’m in charge of supplying everything the Convivia team needs when running both small and big events. I love driving and making things happen for this lovely squad of folks.

Alicia

I’m studying journalism and I love writing blog articles for Convivia. Regardless if it’s about a few takeaways after a conference, or describing a foodie experience, putting together stories is my thing.

Maria

Every team needs a guy that has a hard time saying “no.” Oh well, this is me. I love lending help without expecting something in return, even though at Convivia I get a lot: support, connections, and belongingness.
